Mayoor Hosts Battle of Titans- 2020

Mayoor School, Noida successfully hosted the 9^th Inter- School Tech-Fest ‘Battle Of Titans – BOT’ on August 1, 2020 through virtual platform. This exhilarating event saw a participation of over 400 future technocrats from 30 reputed schools from Delhi and other states. The event commenced with a befitting Opening Ceremony wherein the Principal, Mrs. Alka Awasthi, extended a warm welcome to all the computer wizards, guests, judges and school management. She laid stress on the fact that how computer ethics influence areas of study such as artificial intelligence and human communication relevant in today’s curriculum. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Manish Agarwal, Regional Officer, CBSE, Noida Region. In his address he lauded the host school’s initiative and commended the Principal as a pedagogical leader.

The event comprised of 7 challenging competitions testing various skillsets among the students like Quizzomania, Movie Making, Technottire, Online Debate, Still Photography, Tag by tag and Multimedia Crunch.  The extravaganza stimulated student’s creative faculties, logical thinking and presentation skills. Eminent personalities with rich expertise in the IT field adjudged the various events online from their homes.

The Fest concluded with a beautiful presentation by the students of the host school rekindling hope that the good times and happiness will shine at our doorsteps bringing fortitude and peace. Mayoor School, Noida bagged most of the positions, but as is the tradition the host school does not compete for the trophy. So the most coveted ‘Rolling Trophy’ was given to the tech savvy champions of Amity International School, Noida.

It was overwhelming that the dire times didn’t dwindle the spirit of the young enthusiasts coming together on the digital platform to prove their mettle at the vanguard of technical competition.
